Here is a commercial broker who says that the current prices are astronomical and are not justified by the current sales prices. In other words, deals do not happen based on the income they will generate. Again and again the broker mentions private equity, which has nowhere to park capital.  TheHe says that the lower dollar is seeing a large amount of foreign bidders entering the US due to the dropping dollar. I guess the US are now tasting the medicine that certain parts of Canada were exposed to in the last couple of decades.   Doesn't sound like the big money is very bullish in the near term on either the US dollar or US equities, if you place credence on anecdotal evidence like this....
